PlayPosit - an Interactive Video Tool 

QUESTION TYPES:

Add Playposit to a Moodle course by choosing "External Tool" when adding an activity or access Playposit at playposit.com and use for professional development, tutorials, etc.

Getting Started

• BEFORE LOGGING IN --> View a text and screenshot guide to creating an interactive video, which PlayPosit calls a bulb, here.
• Create your PlayPosit​ instructor account by logging into Moodle and adding an activity to one of your courses or project sites according to these instructions.
• Find a video you want to upload into PlayPosit (or go to the "Premade Bulbs" section to find existing "bulbs"/lessons). 
• Select "Add New Bulb" and then upload your video or link to YouTube - If you need a video to try it out with here's the TedTalk "Toxic Culture of Education" https://youtu.be/BnC6IABJXOI 
• Play/Pause to preview your video and use the blue button to add interactions (8 different types including multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank and polls)

Classes and Deploying Bulbs

• Click here to experience PlayPosit as a student.
• Interactions keep students engaged in the video and facilitate connections to content with discussion boards, questions, or polls.
• PlayPosit is available in Moodle as an "External Tool".
• Follow these instructions to add a PlayPosit activity to a Moodle course 
• The "Broadcast" feature allows you to work through a video (i.e. classroom observation) together with your class face to face. This feature will be available soon in Moodle.

Feedback - Evaluation - Assessment

• Graded activities can automatically populate the Moodle gradebook
• Click "Monitor" from within the Moodle activity or go to Classes and click the Gradebook directly from PlayPosit.
