Getting Started
- Go to http://www.lynda.com/signin and click on "Sign in with your organization portal". You will be prompted to sign in with your NC State credentials
- This course walks you through using Lynda.com
- Video tutorials are organized by topic and combined into courses and playlists
- Click in the search bar at the top or browse topics by clicking on the LIBRARY
- Watch individual videos or complete courses to earn certificates
- Filter using criteria in the left column by skill level, subject, or duration
Using Lynda Content in Classes
- Provide videos for remediation or extension of learning
- Differentiate using customized playlists, playback speed, and transcripts
- Students can take time-stamped notes
- Add Lynda.com videos or courses to your Moodle site
- Self-directed learning through student searches
- Progress monitoring within a course automatically tracked for student
- Export notes or download certificates for accountability
