NC State METRC: College of Ed
Follow Us
In 2016, the NC State University community read the book Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. As a part of this common read, the College of Education encouraged students to attend a series of activities related to the themes of the book, which include mercy, justice, poverty, and racial inequity: all issues of great significance to educators in North Carolina.

Bryan Stevenson
works with the Children's Defense Fund on changing the racial narrative through schools via the CDF Freedom Schools Program.
